In the beginning I plied the publishing trades — first as a journalist and technical writer, but later primarily in an editorial capacity. For the past two decades I've worked as a consulting researcher and editor for a broad range of clients. I also occasionally publish short stories.
There are different ways to help others navigate complex information problems. I spent my youth working in public and academic libraries. Around the time I hit 40, I came to realize I never should have left. I took a professional break from editing to complete a PhD in library and information science.
Apart from my current day gig as a librarian, I also work alongside my husband, a software developer who created a powerful voice command utility years before Google and Amazon ever gave it a thought. We support VoxCommando users from all over the world on our forum. Come say 'hi' if you like.
I am open to new collaborations and opportunities. Feel free to drop me a line.
Thanks for stopping by,Naomi Bloch
